Prof Avv Eleonora Rosati, PhD (EUI), LLM (Cantab)
An Italian-qualified lawyer (avvocato) with experience in copyright, trade marks, fashion and internet laws, Dr Eleonora Rosati is Full Professor of Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Co-Director of the LLM in European IP Law at Stockholm University. She is also Of Counsel at Bird & Bird.

Eleonora is the author of several articles and books on IP issues, including – most recently – Copyright and the Court of Justice of the European Union (Oxford University Press:2023), 2nd edition (1st edition published in 2019) and Copyright in the Digital Single Market - Article-by-Article Commentary to the Provisions of Directive 2019/790 (Oxford University Press:2021). She is also the editor of The Routledge Handbook of EU Copyright Law (Routledge:2021) and co-editor of Developments and Directions in Intellectual Property Law. Twenty Years of The IPKat (Oxford University Press:2023).
She has received multiple accolades and prizes for her work in the IP field and regularly contributes to the work of IP-focused international and EU institutions, organizations, and offices.
